1. Services Provided

Mid Florida Movers offers professional moving services, including but not limited to:

  • Local moving services
  • Long-distance moving services
  • Commercial moving services
  • Residential moving services
  • Moving and storage services

These services are subject to availability and are outlined in the service agreement.

2. Agreement to Terms

By scheduling a move with Mid Florida Movers, you confirm your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. All customers are advised to review the terms carefully before using any of our services. If you do not accept the terms, do not engage with our services.

3. Payment Terms

  • Payment Methods: Payments can be made via credit card, bank transfer, or cash. All payments must be made in full before the completion of the move unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
  • Deposit: A deposit may be required to secure your moving date. The deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation within 72 hours of the scheduled move date.
  • Final Payment: The remaining balance for the move is due upon completion of the move unless otherwise agreed.
  • Additional Charges: Additional charges may apply if services exceed the scope of the initial agreement, including extra labor, long carry fees, or last-minute changes to the scope of work.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Cancellation: Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours prior to the move date to receive a full refund of the deposit.
  • Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule your move, please notify us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate a new date, but rescheduling is subject to availability.

5. Liability

  • Limitation of Liability: Mid Florida Movers is responsible for damage to property or items only when caused by our negligence. Liability for damage or loss of items during the move is limited to the declared value of the items being transported.
  • Valuation Options: We offer basic coverage of $0.60 per pound per article. For higher protection, customers can opt for full-value protection at an additional cost.
  • Items Not Covered: We are not responsible for damage to items packed by the customer or items that are not suitable for moving (such as hazardous materials, perishable goods, and certain high-value items like jewelry or money).

6. Customer Responsibilities

  • Packing and Preparation: Customers must ensure that all items are properly packed before our team arrives, except for those items specifically included in the packing services we provide.
  • Access: Customers must ensure that there is adequate access to both the pickup and drop-off locations, including parking space for the moving truck. Any obstacles such as stairs, narrow doorways, or lack of elevator access should be communicated in advance.
  • Inventory: Customers are responsible for ensuring that all items to be moved are accurately listed and accounted for in the inventory.

7. Moving Day Expectations

  • Arrival Time: Our team will provide an estimated arrival window, but we cannot guarantee exact times. Traffic, weather, and other unforeseen circumstances may affect arrival times.
  • Move Completion: The estimated time to complete the move is based on the scope of work provided. Delays may occur if there are complications or if the scope of work changes.

8. Storage Services

If you require storage services, Mid Florida Movers will provide secure storage options subject to availability. Storage is charged on a monthly basis, and items must be properly packed and labeled before being stored. Customers are responsible for retrieving their items within the agreed time frame. Mid Florida Movers is not liable for items left in storage beyond the agreed period.

9. Privacy

We respect your privacy and handle all personal data in compliance with applicable privacy laws. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information about how we collect, use, and protect your information.

10. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control, such as extreme weather, natural disasters, labor strikes, or government regulations.

11. Amendments to Terms and Conditions

Mid Florida Movers reserves the right to amend, update, or change these Terms and Conditions at any time. All changes will be posted on our website, and your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes related to these Terms and Conditions or our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration. Arbitration will take place in the jurisdiction where Mid Florida Movers is located, and the arbitration decision shall be final and binding.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which Mid Florida Movers operates.
